We’re calling on our amazing school community for one of our biggest fundraisers of the year — and the impact is huge.

That’s about $2,000 generated for our school by every single volunteer shift!
🎰 What Is an AGLC Casino Fundraiser?
This fundraiser has nothing to do with gambling — and everything to do with community support. Schools raise funds by providing volunteers for supervised, behind‑the‑scenes roles at a local casino, all strictly regulated by AGLC.
🕒 What Volunteers Do
During a scheduled shift over the two days, volunteers may help with:
- Transporting chips between tables and the count room
- Assisting casino staff with chip inventory
- Counting casino proceeds at the end of a shift
✅ No gambling is allowed by volunteers
✅ No experience required (training provided on site)
✅ No police clearance needed
✅ Anyone 18+ is welcome to volunteer
💛 Why This Matters
In return for our volunteers’ time, a portion of the casino proceeds is donated directly to our school — approximately $70,000.
These funds help support:
- Classroom resources and technology
- Field trips, buses, and enrichment activities (like Alien In-Line Skating and SoundKreations Dance residencies)
- Music and physical education equipment
- School‑wide events and student experiences
