LITERACY NIGHT WAS A SUCCESS
Thank you to families that came out to our Family Literacy Event! It is all that students can talk about today, which is fantastic!
Because of your support at the Scholastic Book Fair, we will be able to purchase approximately $3500 for new books for the Learning Commons. Mrs. Barrowcliff has a list of books that students are frequently requesting and will add as much content that students are interested in as possible.
Thank you to students that entered the Literacy Contest! Our Parent Fundraising Society donated six games to be won. Congratulations to:
- Saanvi in Kindergarten who won the Sight Word Fishing Game
- Mert in Grade One who won Spot It
- Ava in Grade Two who won Bananagrams
- Ayah in Grade Three who won Blah, Blah, Blah
- Mila in Grade Four who won Story Cubes
- Guneet in Grade Five who won Word-a-Round.
