LAND-BASED LEARNING IS YEAR ROUND

Classes continue to do outdoor learning throughout the year, in all seasons and in all weather. This can include learning / working on the school grounds and out in the community.

Students need to be prepared for being outside every day please. This includes having proper layered clothing, snow pants and winter jackets, socks and warm boots (not rubber boots or running shoes).

Extra pants and socks should also be kept in backpacks at all times in case they get wet and need to change into dry clothes.

AMAZING TURN OUT FOR PARENT/TEACHER STUDENT LEARNING CONFERENCES

We were so thrilled to have so many families sign up for our Student Learning Conferences!  We are in a spot right now where true human connections and parent involvement in their child’s learning continue to be so important.

Teachers truly appreciate being able to show your child’s work while discussing their strengths and important next steps. We hope families find the time to meet as helpful as we do. Official report cards are written by teachers at the end of January and will be published for viewing through your parent MyCBE PowerSchool account at that time.

We also appreciate people looking through the Lost & Found to reclaim missing items.  All unclaimed items will be donated to Women in Need on the weekend.
