DIVERSITY COLLECTION
A big thank you to the Parent Fundraising Society for donating $5000 to expand our Learning Commons collection. This month, we’re featuring books related to Black History Month, Ramadan, and World Hijab Day. Each month, new books will be showcased to highlight different topics.
LOST & FOUND
The Lost & Found is once again full. Please label all of your child’s things to help us get items back to you. The mittens, gloves and winter hats bins are full to the top so if your child is missing these items, you are welcome to drop in to the office so we can let you go through them.
STAFF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ABOUT LEARNING ON, FROM AND THROUGH THE LAND
Our staff recently spent time with Blackfoot Knowledge Keeper Sandra Manyfeathers to learn about connecting with the land. Teachers will use this knowledge in their planning and activities for students in the coming months. Classes will continue to have outdoor learning on the school grounds and in the Coventry Hills and Harvest Hills communities. Please check the homeroom agenda blogs regularly for important updates on your child’s class.
