June 4 – 5:00 – School Council’s Annual General Meeting
June 6 – SPIRIT DAY: Hawaiian Luau Day – Students can dress in beach wear, Hawaiian shirts, etc.
June 6 – 6:00 to 8:00 – Family Dance
June 7 - All library books due back to school
June 12 – SPIRIT DAY: Creative Hair or Headwear Day
June 16 – Last day for registering for the Yellow School Bus service for the 2024-25 school year.
June 18 – Grade Five Field Trip
June 19 – 2:15 – Grade Five Send-Off Celebration for Grade Five families
June 19 – Imagination Day: Students will be engaging in activities to help build their imagination. They may dress up as anything they want on this day.
June 21 – Volunteer Tea for our volunteers. Please RSVP if attending.
Families are encouraged to Walk or Wheel to school June 3-7. If students take the bus, they can walk or wheel to and from the bus stop. If students go to before and after care, they can walk or wheel in the evening to show their participation.
Students who walk or wheel (on a bike, scooter, roller blades or skateboard) three or more days during that week, will have their name entered into a draw to win a scooter and a helmet, donated by the Ward Three City Councilor's office. (We have also purchased an additional scooter and helmet so we can give away one set to someone in K-2 and one set to someone in grades 3-5).
During the week of June 3-7, teachers will take a few minutes each morning to track and celebrate how their students are getting to school. The draw for the scooter and helmet will be on Monday, June 10 and we will announce the winner in the June 14 Northern Lights News.

Children cannot be dropped off and cannot be left unattended.
