NLS FOOD DRIVE STARTS MONDAY
Our grade five students have organized a food drive to collect food donations for both the Calgary Food Bank and the Nose Creek Community Pantry.
Students are encouraged to bring canned or boxed food items from May 5 to May 15 as a way of giving back to our community.
Leadership students will be visiting classrooms once a day to collect donations and will be creating food art sculptures with the donated items as items come in. They are aiming to collect 300 donated items. If we reach their goal, the Parent Fundraising Society will be funding a special presentation for the whole school.
FAMILY DANCE - THURSDAY, MAY 15
If you want to attend the Family Dance on Thursday, May 15, please click HERE. Tickets are $15 per family. Children must be with a parent/guardian the entire time—no children are allowed alone. (Tickets must be purchased in advance.)
When buying your ticket online, you can also purchase coupons for snacks and items like chips, Freezies, candy bags, and glow sticks. Each item is one coupon or $1.00.
Tickets and coupons will be sent home with your child by Wednesday, May 14.
Tickets cannot be purchased at the door and must be purchased in advance. Coupons can be purchased in advance online or can be purchased at the dance (cash only).
This is a fundraising event, so any extra funds will go towards new recess equipment. Thank you for your support!

SPRING CARNIVAL
The North Trail High School’s Key Club will be hosting a family Spring Carnival on Saturday, May 24 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. There is a $5 entry. Please see their flyer for more information. (This is not sponsored by our school, but we are sending it out to our community families to help spread the word about their event.)
