ROCK YOUR MOCS
What is Rock Your Mocs? Established in 2011, Rock Your Mocs is a worldwide Indigenous Peoples social media unity event. People wear their moccasins wherever their day takes them and many take a photo, or create a video/story, and upload to social media with the hashtag #rockyourmocs. This creates an online photo album for the world to see and enjoy while simultaneously uniting Native American & Indigenous Peoples through their unique, and collective, tribal culture and heritage.
CAN YOU WEAR MOCCASINS AND MUKLUCKS IF YOU ARE NOT INDIGENOUS?
Absolutely! make our moccasins and mukluks for everyone. By purchasing authentic products made by Indigenous artists, you are participating in cultural appreciation, not cultural appropriation. When you purchase from an Indigenous creator or company, you are directly supporting Indigenous people and celebrating Indigenous culture in an authentic, meaningful way that helps to create a positive impact in Indigenous communities.

If you are interested in ordering chocolates from Purdys Chocolatier, you can click HERE to get to the Northern Lights School page. It was requested by families last year that orders come in earlier so orders will be due by November 27 with a pick up date of December 12.
On December 11, a parent volunteer will be at the school between 3:00 - 5:00 if you don't want your order sent home, or we will send your order home with your child on December 12 if it is not picked up. (Although there is no place for you to put your child's name within the online order, we are able to search your child's name as long as the name you place your order with is one of the names we have connected to your child at the school.)
