PICTURE DAY

Kids with Cameras, Pictures, Photographs, Picture Day, Photo Day

October 2 is individual school photo day and group photo day.  The times are not set and predictable, so we ask that families do their best to have their children at school for the full day to avoid being missed. Thanks for your help!

BUS BEHAVIOUR

All students who ride the school bus are expected to stay seated the entire bus ride, to talk in quiet voices and to listen to the bus drivers.  Safe hands are also expected. Students that are not following the bus expectations are impacting the safety of all that ride the bus. Unexpected behaviours will result in a one-day bus suspension. Continued unexpected behaviours will result in a two-day bus suspension. All students need to follow the group plan.

STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT

While the majority of our students are working hard to learn and be a positive part of the school community, some of our students are needing a bit more coaching and guidance to show expected behaviours and to ensure they are positively contributing to a safe and caring school community.

All students in the CBE are expected to follow the CBE’s Student Code of Conduct. As a staff, we continue to review these expectations with students and hold students to behaviour expectations that meet the Code of Conduct. Items from the CBE’s Student Friendly version that have been shared with our students include:

Every student must know about the Code of Conduct and must follow it. If you don’t do what the school asks, you can be suspended. Things you cannot do are:

·       Be rude to teachers and students

·       Do things that are unsafe to others

·       Hurt other people’s feelings or not allow them to play with you

·       Swear or share bad pictures or make mean faces and signs towards another person

·       Not let someone work or play with you because they are different

·       Destroy or damage property

·       Be part of a gang that is being mean

·       Stop others from learning
